So that we will hear more than we speak! Even the Bible tells us so in
book of James. Many times we lose out in deals and negotiations because
we are too busy talking rather than analysing the situation by listening
--both in speech and body language --to the person involved.

Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become
angry.. James 1:19

Loads of wise words in the Bible, wish I had been more diligent in reading
them... :(
