It's time to go on a gut-friendly diet!

It's pretty amazing goes on in our gut. Well, there are parasites like bacteria, yeast. Recently had to be on MC and work from home because of back pain and tummy ache. Seen two doctors, first one said food poisoning. Second one said gut infection. Huh? Gut infection caused by back pain? And the infection caused fever? Does it make sense?

Well, the thing is that the medicine I had been taking eg. antibiotics and high sugar content food had been making my gut really sick. Some medicine kill off our good bacteria, allowing for existing fungal parasites eg. yeast to grow out of hand. They cause the lining of the intestine to be have tiny holes and that's how the bacteria and some semi-processed food into my blood and attach some of the body system. Some of the bacteria/yeast get into the joints in the back bone. That's explains my back ache.

And also strangely, the doctor did not prescribe antibiotics to me but probiotics (good bacteria) instead. First time I am taking it, mm... taste nice too... a little orange tangy. Now I am back to usual, but am going on a refined sugar free diet with high fiber and vegetable. No red meat at the moment! No bread, no cakes, no sweets, no chocolate, no biscuits, no .........
